Time out called! Community sport took a huge step towards a safe return over the weekend with the release of the AFL and Football Victoria ‘return to sport’ protocols for consideration of member clubs.

We are currently assessing the practical application of the protocols in Bayside and will be providing our sports clubs with more information as soon as possible.

While we are all eager for community sport to recommence as soon as possible, the health and safety of our players, coaches, officials and club community remains paramount.

At this time, the withdrawal of tenancy remains in place in the short term until we have confirmed arrangements for a safe return.

We are all looking forward to the day we see our community back on the sportsgrounds soon.
